This absolutely stunning sugar dish is made by the Empire Ware company, England. Founded in 1896 and closed in 1967, the most well-known pieces from this company are from the 30's. Despite changing hands often, the company kept the same high quality work throughout the years. The company only closed because the new owners were unable to modernized the production of the pottery company. This particular piece belongs to the Highland Autumn Leaves set and is a most wonderful addition to any collection!
