This chamberpot in avocado color is produced by the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company, founded in 1910. Initially know for its utilitarian stoneware items without any markings. However, in 1933, the company changed its focus and began producing decorative pieces aimed to be sold to the great public. The company is eventually sold in 1967 and today, the items are prized by pottery collectors due to the stunning colors, the great glazing and designs on each creation!
