This set of 5 porcelaine plates is made by the French Saxon China Company, founded in 1898 by the Sevring brothers. The first company lasted until 1929, but other branches were established during that time. The branch founded in 1911 served as the main company after the failure of the first and lasted until 1932, where it was sold to Oliver Wern. He renamed the company as the French-Saxon Pottery and held it until 1964, until it was sold to Royal China, who absorbed it. These pieces are a slice of life of the world of americain porcelain!
